Submissions
We welcome poetry submissions from all writers who are currently in high school, regardless of where you are in your current journey in poetry. We are pleased to announce that submissions for Spring/Summer 2025 will be reviewed by the celebrated poet Madeleine Cravens, a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University from 2022-2024.
Please submit up to three poems by June 7, 2025 for consideration for our Spring/Summer 2025 volume. There is no fee to submit. We only accept original work that has not been previously published either in print or online. We aim to publish 30 poems, with special commendation cited by Ms. Cravens. All published poets will receive book prizes as well as a print copies of Voyage of Verse.
There are two ways to submit to Voyage of Verse:

You can also email your submissions to us at voyageofverse@gmail.com. Please include your name, current grade, email address, school and city, home address, and a short biography (2-3 sentences, 3rd person). Please attach your poems as Word or Google Docs Documents, with the files denoted with your name and the title of your poem.
*When you submit to Voyage of Verse, you are giving us First Serial Rights as well as the right to archive your work on our site. Copyrights of all work published in Voyage of Verse remain with the author.
